Heysbrook Lodge is situated off the N4 close to Waterval Onder, offering the perfect group getaway destination. The property runs along some 7km of the Heysbrook River, providing spectacular views across the mountains and valleys. The lodge features a central living area with a bar area, a large dining room, a cozy lounge with fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen leading out into an enclosed braai area. Large fireplaces throughout the lodge offer warmth on chilly evenings.

Tudor Cottage:

Tudor Cottage is a separate unit situated in the same valley just up the road from the lodge. Situated on the banks of a small stream that flows into the Heys brook, the cottage offers a uniquely exclusive getaway. Big skies, rolling vistas and solitude await you. The cottage – aside for the lodge and the manager’s home – is the only dwelling on the estate.

There is a full day, 10-kilometer hike available that takes you along the edge of the escarpment and offers superb views of the valley, the Elands Waterfall and views of Heysbrook. 

Leigh, the Lodge manager, can organize one of the guides for guided walks on request, tours of the graveyards, clay pigeon shooting (please book prior to arrival), rock climbing tours and a variety of other options available in the area.

Important Information: If Tudor Cottage is booked separately to the lodge, cottage guests leave the summer house and river pool area for the use of the lodge occupants.
