Highlands Corner is a pet-friendly spacious self-catering chalet located in the Highlands Meander area of Mpumalanga, part of the privately owned Highland Springs Country Estate. The chalet offers stunning views of the big dam and Highveld countryside, providing a tranquil retreat close to nature. Location: Approximately 7km from Dullstroom/Emakhazeni offramp on the N4 highway. Access via a well-maintained dirt road (4x4 not required, higher ground clearance advisable). Bedroom 1: Main bedroom with Queen-sized bed. En suite bathroom with shower and fireplace. Bedroom 2: Two single beds. Shared bathroom with bath/shower combo. Bedroom 3: Three single beds. Shared bathroom with bath/shower combo. Facilities: Open-plan lounge/kitchen area leading to braai area. Fully equipped kitchen with gas/electric stove, electric oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and cooking utensils. Braai area with built-in braai/fireplace. Game table on the stoop area. 0% Alcohol honesty bar. Comfortable benches for relaxation. Hot water bottles and extra blankets are available to keep you warm on chilly nights. Pet-Friendly Features: Well fenced-in garden with diamond mesh and clear view fence (1.2 meters high). Doggy furniture covers provided. Poop scoop and plastic bags available. Accommodates up to 4 small to medium dogs. Parking: Undercover parking for 2 cars within the chalet yard. Amenities Provided: Firewood for fireplaces (first night included, additional available at extra cost). Linen, towels, warm blankets, and extra pillows. Complimentary small soap per guest. Tap water safe to drink, sourced from naturally filtered underground spring water. Rechargeable LED lamps provided for use during loadshedding. Loadshedding light bulbs pre-charged before arrival.
