Located a mere 1.2km from the hamlet of Dullstroom on 25 hectares, Vlettershof offers the best of both worlds with proximity to town and serene farm life. Total 10 persons (6 adults and 4 children). 3 Bedrooms: Bedroom 1: Queen bed with en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2: Double bed and a bunk bed for children, with en suite bathroom. Bedroom 3: Queen bed and a bunk bed for children, with separate bathroom. PLEASE NOTE: Bunk Beds are suitable for smaller children only. 3 Bathrooms: Two en-suite bathrooms. One shared bathroom. Amenities and Facilities: Well-equipped kitchen: All cutlery, crockery, microwave oven, fridge, freezer and gas stove. Large fireplace. Undercover patio with braai facilities. Hairdryer. Electric blankets (Only hot water bottles for top bunks). Rechargeable battery bulbs for load shedding. Candles and solar lamps. Gas stove (oven non-functional during load shedding). Start-up bundle of wood supplied on the first day. On site activities: Angling. Canoeing. Walks. Mushroom foraging (in season). Prolific birdlife, including the elusive Red Chested Fluff-tail. Flotation tubes allowed (maximum of 2 at a time). Stunning views over the dam at sunrise and sunset. Additional Information: No heaters. No coffee machine or plunger. No Tv. Unfortunately no pets are allowed.
Dullstroom has everything you need to have the perfect family vacation, beautiful scenery, great activities, and a population that’ll welcome you to their lovely town. Dullstroom is home to one of South Africa’s finest trout fishing rivers which attract eager anglers from across the world. On-site activities include angling, canoeing, walks, and mushroom foraging in season. The bird life is prolific, including, if you are lucky, the elusive red chested fluff-tail.
