Our portfolio of self-catering units each present a unique offering to guests located within and around the exclusive and secure Walkersons Estate, 10km east of Dullstroom in Mpumalanga. Guests are invited to escape the hustle and bustle of life to find peace and tranquility in the mountains and valleys of the beautiful Mpumalanga countryside. The rolling country hills of the Highlands escarpment is calling to embrace you with fresh mountain air and meet you with a kiss of nature. CANYON COTTAGE This characterful self-catering holiday home is one of the original ‘fisherman’s cottages’ built on Walkersons Private Estate. Canyon Cottage is hidden in the upper reaches of a beautiful gorge and set amid tall trees directly on the river. Canyon Cottage comprises 5 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms and accommodates up to 10 guests. There are 2 bedrooms with king size beds, 1 with a queen bed and 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each. The adjoining living area is comfortable and inviting featuring an open plan dining room, lounge and kitchen leading onto a patio with freestanding braai and side deck overhanging the water. Light the fireplaces for a cozy and warm atmosphere on those cold misty evenings and let laughter fill the air as you enjoy quality time with family and friends in this peaceful and secluded cottage. HANGAR HIDEOUT Hangar Hideout offers pilot accommodation in a tastefully furnished private bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and private courtyard, attached behind an aircraft hangar in Walkersons Private Estate, 10 km east of Dullstroom. The hideout is the ideal over-night accommodation for the aviation enthusiast or fly by adventurer. The room comprises a queen-size bed with luxury linen, and a bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. The room is equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities, a mini-bar fridge, and basic crockery. The suite has access to a quaint courtyard. EAGLE VIEW on BEUMONT FARM Beumont farm offers exclusive self-catering accommodation in two stylishly decorated contemporary open-plan cabins, Eagle View 1 and 2. Beumont farm is located adjacent Walkersons Private Estate, 15 km east of Dullstroom. Both Eagle view cabins are set high on top of a mountain with 360-degree panoramic views of the magnificent valley making it the perfect secluded hideaway for couples looking to escape for a romantic breakaway, enjoy a mountain top honeymoon, celebrate an anniversary or anyone yearning for a soul-cleansing escape from the city. Enjoy the most spectacular sunrises as you awake to embrace the nature all around. Snuggle up on misty days and laze around as the clouds surround and envelop you. The astonishing sunsets give a beautiful dramatic display of an array of colors as night sets in to complete a perfect day. Enjoy a sundowner on the wooden deck while marveling at the spectacular views. Great care has been taken with the design of the unit to minimize the impact on the environment. These modern cabins are totally off the grid, fed by a natural water source and powered by solar and gas. Beumont is only accessible with a 4 x 4 vehicle or helicopter. Alternative arrangements can be made on request. NINETYSIX ON VALLEY VIEW A modern country villa located on the prestigious Walkersons Private Estate and a place where the beauty of the idyllic Estate is reveal by the spectacular views displayed down the picturesque valley and meandering Lunsklip River. NinetySix is ideal for groups desiring to relax in style, while enjoying time together. It is the epitome of luxury accommodation. This modern country villa offers a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere. A perfect balance between opulence and comfort has been achieved against a backdrop of the spectacular views offered by the Walkersons Valley. NinetySix is designer decorated and characterised by beautiful open spaces. This modern country villa features 5 individually decorated luxurious en-suite guest rooms. The guest rooms comprise of 3 standard rooms and 2 executive suites. The standard rooms are furnished with twin or king size beds and the suite rooms with XL king size beds complete with crisp white Egyptian cotton linen. STONE COTTAGE This Country Holiday House is a self-catering retreat located on Walkersons Private Estate and ideal for a group of friends or family to enjoy a remarkable breakaway. This history rich, Stone House surrounded by beautiful trees and a lush English garden with trout dams is fully equipped with all amenities required for a comfortable holiday stay. Stone Cottage comfortably accommodates 14 guests and features: • A Main house with cozy open living areas, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms of which the main king bedroom is en-suite. The two remaining rooms have a queen and 2 single beds, respectively. • Two open-plan king size en-suite bedrooms separated from the main house. • Also, a quaint cottage, ideal for a family of 4, featuring a queen bed and 2 single beds with a shared full en-suite bathroom and coffee station. Social gathering on the large patio with build-in braai and spectacular views down the valley on to the runway and dams makes relaxing and unwinding a given treat. The indoor entertainment area with wood-fired pizza oven, flatscreen TV, large leather couch and bar-height solid-wood dining table makes the ideal place to share unforgettable moments and create meaningful memories for life!
