The Barnhouse W69 is one of the original farmhouses on Walkersons Private Estate. Situated in a quiet area of the estate, it boasts a magnificent property with a large lawn, established trees, and shrubs.
The stone farmhouse has been beautifully renovated, extended, and modernized to create a state-of-the-art family home while retaining the authenticity, essence, and character of the original building. The house is north-facing with an enclosed veranda on two sides and offers incredible views of the estate.

Dullstroom-Emnotweni dates back to the early 1880s when Dutch Settlers made their way to the place of "eternal mist". The town is 2100 m above sea level, making this one of the highest towns in the country. The architecture in the town is a mixture of 19th and 20th-century building designs.
Dullstroom is one of the coldest villages in South Africa and is South Africa's premier trout fishing area. It is the home of the highest railway station, 2076 m above sea level and is the only place where elm and beech trees grow in any number and is also the only region in South Africa where you will find the endangered Blue Crane, Crowned Crane, as well as the Wattled Crane which is critically endangered.
The town hosts a Whiskey bar with the largest collection of whiskeys in the Southern Hemisphere. The town contains a specialised clock shop with the largest collection of clocks in the Southern Hemisphere.
