Big Oak Cottages

Thank you for a great stay. It was great as always. I will keep on booking here. I am a guest at big oakes for the last 5 years,and i have reffeared allot of people to book here. I will keep on doing this.

Regarding the accommodation at Big Oak Cottages, we were thoroughly impressed and really enjoyed our stay, probably the best we have experienced in Dullstroom thus far over 5 years of the TRAC Rally. I added an entry into their guestbook as well. Stand outs: - The location was perfect. It is quiet, but very close to the service park, which helped a lot when my wife “locked” herself out and I could be there in 5 minutes of walking to assist. - The unit is well designed, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. - The unit was clean and had everything we needed, from clean linen and towels (+ a facecloth for makeup removal), and small touches such as wood for a log fire, bottles of water and milk in the fridge, a decanter of OBS for a nightcap and a Ferro Rocher chocolate on each pillow. - The cupboard was big enough and ample clothes hangers were available, which was appreciated. - Although we didn’t use the built in braai area and cooking utensils, everything was there to do so. - The shower deserves a special mention, it is huge. No bashing of elbows or shower curtains getting in the way. - Also thoughtful was the ample plug points with multiplugs and an extension cord with adapter to charge phones. - Using codes to enter and exit the unit and the gate impressed me, as it doesn’t require hauling around keys or remotes, which can get lost. - The gardens and lawn are very well kept and adds to the appeal. Finally, nothing negative to report, it’s a 5 out of 5 for us. We would like to visit again, even if not rally related

We had an excellent stay at Big Oaks.This is a gem in Dullstroom. We will have to come back for another visit or more. We fell inlove with our cottage and did not want to come back.
