Elands Valley

We absolutely loooooved the place! The staff made sure it was special for our anniversary and our weekend on a whole. It felt like a home away from home. Our first trip with our baby boy and we had a beautiful time. He was also so calm and content and enjoyed the lovely environment. The freshly baked bread was to die for!! The place really exceeded our expectations. We definitely will be back again. We were super sad to leave upon checkout. We definitely will be back.

I wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for the incredible experience we had during our stay at Elands Valley in Dullstroom. Right from the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and hospitality that went above and beyond our expectations. Their friendliness and willingness to accommodate our needs made our arrival and check-in process seamless. The cottage itself was nothing short of perfection. Its cozy atmosphere added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. We truly appreciated the attention to detail that went into making the accommodation not just a place to stay, but a home away from home. And, of course, the location! Breathtaking would be an understatement. The beauty of Elands Valley and the surrounding area left us in awe. It provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing weekend getaway. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to the owners and the entire staff for their dedication in creating such a memorable experience for us. We really enjoyed our stay, Elands Valley was really a surprise as the accommodation is excellent and definitely value for money, my daughter particularly enjoyed all the farm animals and the staff are really friendly and welcoming! We will definitely be back.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was nice and clean and we had everything we needed available in the cottage. The complimentary home baked bread that Clara made was a nice surprise. Thank you! The only recommendation that we could make is the size of the braai, but it was lovely to have a ready made fire that could just be lit. Thank you also to Lee-Anne that assisted us with our booking.

The peacefulness, the beauty of the surroundings, and the warmth of the staff make it such a special place for us. If I had to make one small suggestion, perhaps some of the furnishings and linens could do with a little refresh—but honestly, it doesn’t take away from the magic of Elands Valley in the slightest. We always have the most wonderful time and can’t wait to return!

We had such a good time. It's our third time there, and we definitely feel so at home each time. It's such a lovely place and will definitely recommend it to anyone! Thank you for all your efforts with the cleaning and even the super nice baked bread.

Everything was lovely just as the last time we stayed over, we enjoyed the time away and the hospitality was excellent. The place was in an impeccable condition. I do wish there were network on the premises however being away from our phones was a good reset for us.

It was a wonderful stay, we were made feel very welcome and very special. A big thank you to the ladies who baked us a fresh bread – it was amazing and such a lovely surprise to find on the kitchen table. No complaints or suggestions to improve – keep it up!

Hi Team Our stay at Elands Valley Guest Farm was so special. The venue is clean, beautiful and so well maintained. Our particular cottage (Strawberry Fields) was just gorgeous. We had two warm days and one very chilly evening. The fireplace and electric blanket kept us snug and warm and we loved the coziness of the cottage. So many thoughtful touches (the gum-boots, the gowns, the firewood) and we loved seeing the pigs, chickens, goats, cows as well as the buck and birds. I was even able to watch the Springbok game, which I thoroughly enjoyed ? My husband went fishing (he caught 1) and I went walking - so we both feel refreshed and revitalised by the time we spent there. A special mention to the fresh bread we found in our kitchen on Saturday morning - it was brilliant! Also, the welcome from the staff was warm and friendly. We really hope to be back soon - it was just what we needed. A quiet place with the space to take a deep breath! Many thanks!!

Thank you so much for arranging the stay at Stone Lodge at a reduced rate .It is a stunning lodge , well kept gardens and very helpful staff.The lodge is well equipped and we had everything that we needed. Thank for the special rate which made affordable for everyone.Our fishing was not that successful but we will give it another try in 2026 Thumps up for Dullstroom Reservations excellent service and guidance to find a perfect stay for our family.We will keep on supporting you in 2026

The staff was super friendly and helpfull. The kitchen had every thing we needed and is so so beautiful. I loved the pretty plates as I am fond of setting tables with beautiful crockery. The freshly baked bread was a surprise. Loved the fire place and lovely bedroom. Stunning view over the trout dam. We will visit you again. PS. We decided to drive to Dullstroom with my Suzuki Espresso in stead of my husbands SUV, and we managed the gravel road without much efford. It is possible. Thank you again.
